It’s Just Business
New technology is by necessity separated from the business while its complexity is understood and adapted to. In the dot-com boom, web and brick and mortar businesses were separate. But as the web became more common, it became part of every business. Similarly, the IoT will be largely the domain of IT while under development, but will be assimilated by the business as it becomes mainstream.
